Audit Planning and Risk Assessment Process
Each fiscal year, the Office of Internal Audit develops an audit plan for the following year. This plan is coordinated with the University’s senior management, and is approved by the Chancellor and the Board of Trustees Audit Committee.
The annual audit plan is intended to allocate resources and establish audit priorities that are based on the risks and exposures that could have a significant impact on the University’s ability to accomplish our mission. A portion of the audit plan is also reserved for investigative audits and other unforeseen projects that arise during the year.
